Or dropping crap out of their car windows. It drives me nuts. I just don't understand the mentality of people who do that. Many times, I've wanted to say something to them. But then there's the fear of reprisals. Although I'm not one to buy into media-fuelled hype about knifings, I'm sure that if I spoke up to a group of young guys about dropping their McDonald's packaging in the street, I wouldn't get a polite response. Sadly, it would seem, there's very little we can do as individuals. But there are things that can be done as a society.
